Use Any Video Format

On Demand 2.0 along with any of my other video themes supports absolutely ANY embeddable video format. This means that you can use any video service available that provides video embed options. Or, if you want to host your own video files such as FLV, Quicktime, etc. you can do that as well. The Press75.com Simple Video Embedder makes it easier than ever to embed videos within posts. Simply paste the url to your video, add width and height values and publish.

An Improved User Experience

On Demand 2.0 includes several user interface improvements. For starters, I have implemented a brand new “Instant View” for video. Simply click any thumbnail that has a video associated to it, and the video will be display within an “Instant View” popup allow the user to watch any video without having to browse to single post pages. Of course, if you don’t want to use this new feature, just turn it off within the theme options page. The On Demand 2.0 home page features a brand new content carousel which also includes the option to feature categories along with posts. Your users can now browse featured content and featured categories from the home page which allows you to put all your best content forward.

Theme Options Galore

On Demand 2.0 includes several new theme options that you will definitely perk your interests. You can now customize the look and feel of the entire theme right through the options page without having to touch a single piece of code. Choose a custom background image or color, edit font and link colors, plus much more. On Demand also includes several advertisement management options that allow you to place and manage 728×90, 125×125 or even 300×250 right within the theme options page and sidebar widgets. On Demand also includes sever custom widgets that allow you to manage featured sidebar content and much more.
